Hi, I'm Cheryl
Early in my career, I was working as an HR Business Partner and found myself coaching managers and leaders every day simply because the business needed it. Starting from that experience, through over a decade coaching other executives and my years in-house on executive leadership teams, I've found that unlocking great leadership is the straightest line to measurably strengthening an organization. It can also be very fun and gratifying work.
I've been incredibly fortunate to be a part of building inspiring, award-winning organizations. I've cut my teeth on build-the-plane-while-flying-it explosive growth. I've lead (and coached) through both boom times... and bust. I’m fascinated by organizational behavior - how companies move, how people grow within them, and how leaders navigate and drive change. I'm also deeply motivated by helping people surprise themselves with what they're able to accomplish. That's my hope for every leader I work with. Together, we'll plot a path through all the noisy stuff - let's let your potential come out and play.

How I can help
Whether you’re a seasoned executive running up against new challenges or guiding your first team, great leadership can feel complicated at any level. Maybe you're intentionally stepping into a bigger role, or maybe your organization and role have changed around you. Understanding the landscape you’re playing on and how to get stuff done is hard, often disorienting work. Together we'll:
-
Get clear on your leadership goals
-
Map the field you're playing on and the tools you're working with
-
Plot a path through complex organizational dynamics and relationships
-
Structure and operationalize your leadership habits and practices
-
Track your progress and growth
Bring me your hardest problems. Let's solve them together.

How we'll work together
I blend two approaches: The first is anchored in the belief that you have the knowledge to tackle your own challenges; my job is to help you surface and make sense of it. The second is about keeping our conversations structured and oriented toward action so you can see and feel confident in your progress. I do a lot of listening and asking questions. Think of it like dumping a bucket of toys on the table - together we’ll figure out what to focus on, what to move around (or get rid of), and how you want everything to fit together.
